CAPITOL YOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The Capitol Civic Centre, the Lakeshore’s Performing Arts Centre located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin has an exciting opportunity for a musical director to lead the Capitol’s Youth Symphony Orchestra. The Youth Symphony is sponsored under the auspices of the Capitol Civic Centre with the assistance of the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra.
The Musical Director will be responsible for planning all concerts, rehearsals, and trips for the developmental and performance based string program (scheduled to begin this fall). The Capitol Youth Symphony Orchestra Musical Director will plan the repertoire for the season, adding to the music library as the season requires, prepare and conduct all rehearsals, and coordinate all sectional coaches among other duties.
