Capitol Kids Choir

Building on the success of last season’s choir, the Capitol invites students who love to sing to audition for this season’s choir. Under the direction of Susie Miller, the Choir is one branch of the Capitol Arts Academy, focusing on performing arts for youth. The 2010-11 Academy is sponsored by Holy Family Memorial.

 

The Capitol Kids Choir consists of approximately 30 students who are currently in fourth, fifth or sixth grade. Tuition for the 15-week Choir program is $50, which includes a Kids Choir T-Shirt. The weekly rehearsals will begin Tuesday, Sept. 28 and continue through December. Rehearsals are at the Capitol Civic Centre studio, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Miller will be meeting with students interested in becoming a member of the Capitol Kids Choir on Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Individual interviews will take no more than 10 minutes each.
