JOIN US IN CELEBRATING GARTH'S EMMY AWARD WITH GARTH, THE GARTH NEUSTADTER TRIO, AND FRIENDS!
The Lakeshore goes Hollywood on March 16 when Emmy Award-winner Garth Neustadter comes to the Capitol Civic Centre! Garth became one of the youngest composers to receive a Primetime Emmy Award last fall for his score for the PBS ‘American Masters’ documentary, “John Muir in the New World.” Raised in Manitowoc and a graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School and Lawrence University, Appleton, Wis., Garth is presently studying composition at Yale University, New Haven, Conn.
The March 16 concert will celebrate Neustadter’s accomplishments and will feature the Garth Neustadter Trio, which includes parents Kris and Gary Neustadter of Manitowoc. Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels, a Lutheran High classmate and friend of Garth, will serve as emcee. The event is a fundraiser for the Capitol Civic Centre, an organization that the Neustadters feel strongly about and a stage where they have performed a number of times.
